Marco Island Pet Sitting & Dog Walking
Island routines for Marco Island pets and their travel-friendly people.
Pet sitting, dog walking, and overnight care on Marco Island. We work with year-rounders, seasonal residents, and frequent travelers — the kind of clients who need a sitter that travels well between routines.

Marco's pet rules and why a local sitter matters
Dogs aren't allowed on Marco Island beaches — not Tigertail, not South Marco. That surprises every first-time pet owner here. We work within the rules: leashed walks on sidewalks and trails, fenced play at Canine Cove dog park inside Mackle Park, and shaded routes through residential streets. If you want a real dog-beach trip, we'll point you to nearby options on the mainland.
Canine Cove at Mackle Park
Located at 1361 Andalusia Terrace, Canine Cove is the island's main off-leash spot, with separate areas for small and large dogs (25-pound cutoff), water, picnic tables, and shade. Open 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. We can include a stop on regular walks for social dogs, or build a dedicated 'dog park visit' into your weekly plan.
Seasonal-resident pet care
Many Marco Island clients are seasonal residents from the Northeast and Midwest. We handle the regular care while you're here, and we keep watch on the home (along with the pet) when you head north. Insured and bonded means your home is protected too — we treat key handling and security with the seriousness it deserves.
Travel logistics, vet runs, and the bridge
Vet appointments often require leaving the island, and traffic on the Jolley Bridge during peak season can complicate timing. We plan vet drop-offs and pickups with buffer time and the right paperwork — carrier, leash, vet records, medication. You get the photo when we arrive and another when they're back home safe.
